On behalf of the Organising Committee, I’d like to invite you to join the upcoming Dutch Computational Science Day (DUCOMS), which will take place on 30 November 2026 in Utrecht. Registration and abstract submission (deadline approaching!) are open!
DUCOMS is the annual meeting of the Dutch computational science community, organised by Computational Science NL. The conference brings together researchers from academia and industry across a wide range of disciplines to exchange knowledge on understanding complex systems, with computational methods serving as the common thread. It provides a forum for showcasing advances in computational science, discussing emerging challenges, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The content of DUCOMS addresses the strategic focus areas of the National Agenda for Computational Science through interdisciplinary keynotes and parallel sessions.
Key topics for this year include:
Multi-scale modelling
Data-driven methods & machine learning
Uncertainty quantification & sensitivity analysis
Digital twins & simulations
Quantum & unconventional computing
There will also be a dedicated panel session reflecting on the work plan of Computational Science NL for next year and the computational science community in general. This provides an opportunity to hear about the network’s upcoming activities and explore how you can engage with and contribute to the Dutch computational science community.
