This year marks the 50th edition of the Woudschoten Conference on Scientific Computing.
Starting in 1976, this annual conference forms the key event of the Dutch-Flemish Scientific Computing Society where the latest major research advancements in numerical analysis and scientific computing are presented by renowned international experts in a pleasant, informal setting, stimulating fruitful discussions and community building.
The present 50th edition Woudschoten Conference will be held on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 October 2026. It will have a special format with invited contributions that represent the breadth and strength of the entire scientific computing community across universities and research institutes in The Netherlands and Flanders.
On Thursday evening, a festive dinner will be held, joined by emeriti from our community, to celebrate the anniversary in a convivial setting.
